Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the HisaabConnect website and application (the "Service") operated by HisaabConnect ("we", "us", or "our"), available at https://www.hisaabconnect.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

HisaabConnect provides billing, invoicing, inventory, party management, payment tracking, and related business tools for Indian businesses. During the current development phase, the Service is offered free of charge to users. Features may change, be added, or removed at our discretion while the software is being built.

The Service is not a fully tested or production-ready product. It is provided for early access and feedback while development continues. You should not rely on it as your sole system of record for critical business, tax, or compliance purposes without independent verification.

2. Development and Testing Status

HisaabConnect is under active development and has not completed full quality assurance or end-to-end testing. Bugs, data issues, calculation errors, downtime, or data loss may occur. We make no guarantee that invoices, GST figures, reports, or other outputs are accurate or complete. You use the Service understanding that it is an evolving, not fully tested product.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent business records
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service without permission
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications

5. Your Data and Content

You retain ownership of the business data, invoices, customer records, and other content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of Your Content, including GST details, tax calculations, and invoice information. HisaabConnect is a software tool and does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice.

6. Free Service and Payments

HisaabConnect is currently provided free of charge during the development phase. No subscription or platform fee is required to use the Service at this time.

If you use optional payment features to collect money from your own customers (such as Razorpay integration), you agree to comply with the applicable payment provider's terms. We are not responsible for payment disputes between you and your customers.

If paid plans or fees are introduced after the software is fully launched, they will be disclosed in updated Terms of Service before they apply to you.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, logos, and documentation, is owned by HisaabConnect and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. As the Service is under active development, it may be modified, suspended, or temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons without notice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, THAT TAX OR GST CALCULATIONS WILL BE ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE SERVICE IS FULLY TESTED OR PRODUCTION-READY.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HISAABCONNECT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

12. Changes to Terms

These are draft Terms and may change frequently while HisaabConnect is under development. We will post updates on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. When the software is complete, this draft will be replaced with final Terms of Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
